VIDEO: Popular Yolo actor, Drogba, receives divine healing at church crusade after 4 years of illness

On Friday, August 30, 2024, John Peasah, widely known as Drogba from the popular Yolo television series, shared his extraordinary healing journey with a large congregation at the Christ Embassy’s Airport City crusade in Accra.

Drogba, who has been suffering from multiple health disorders, including the rare Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS), took to the stage with his sister to recount his struggle and miraculous improvement.

SPS is a neurological disorder characterised by severe muscle stiffness and spasms, making it nearly impossible for him to sit in crowds or stay in public spaces for long periods.

This condition had confined him for the past four years, forcing him to wear a face mask to manage his anxiety and symptoms whenever he attempted to go out.

His sister explained the impact of the disorder on his life: “For the past four years, he hasn’t been able to go out. Anytime he tries to go out, he has to wear a face mask because the moment he sees a crowd, he won’t be able to walk. His head will start shaking, and he won’t be able to walk. You’d have to hold him. But today is the first time in four years that he has been able to walk in a crowd.”

Remarkably, at the Friday Miracle Night service, Drogba experienced a significant change. He was able to move around in the crowd, something he hadn’t done in years.

Speaking to the congregation, Drogba shared his amazement: “I find it very hard to walk in public, but I feel better today. The funny thing is nobody has Stiff Person Syndrome in Ghana; I’ve been trying to reach out to people but to no avail.”

Drogba has been open about his health challenges, which include not only SPS but also other severe conditions affecting his coordination, balance, vision, and causing chronic tremors and dizziness. These ailments have taken a toll on both his health and finances.

In a bid to seek advanced treatment abroad, he launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise $280,000, as the cost of managing his condition has depleted his resources.

Despite these challenges, Drogba’s appearance and testimony at the Christ Embassy crusade have given him a renewed sense of hope and faith as he continues to navigate his path to recovery.
