Stonebwoy Features on Hollywood Movie Soundtrack for 2027 Release
Ghanaian Afro-Dancehall star Stonebwoy has secured a feature on the soundtrack of an upcoming Hollywood action-comedy film, Boys Trip, scheduled for worldwide theatrical release in 2027.
The development was announced by Vida Adutwumwaa Boateng, public relations officer for the award-winning musician, in a Facebook post.
According to the announcement, the soundtrack, titled “Wrong Toes", brings together Stonebwoy, American recording artist Mashanda Faust and the Atlanta-based musical group Hero The Band.
The collaboration is expected to blend African and American musical influences, connecting Ghanaian music with international cinema.
Stonebwoy, born Livingstone Etse Satekla, has established himself as one of Ghana’s prominent Afro-dancehall musicians, with a career spanning music releases, international collaborations and performances on global stages.
His involvement in the Boys Trip soundtrack marks another international collaboration for the BHIM Nation president, as Ghanaian music continues to reach audiences beyond the African continent.
Announcing the development, Vida Boateng celebrated the achievement, describing it as an official milestone for the musician and congratulating him on the opportunity.
“Big congratulations to the BHIM Nation President,” she wrote.
The film, Boys Trip, is scheduled to receive a worldwide theatrical release in 2027, although further details about the soundtrack’s release date and Stonebwoy’s specific contribution to the project have not been disclosed.
The collaboration brings together artists from Ghana and the United States, highlighting the growing intersection between African music and international film productions.
