SSNIT Commissions New Vehicles for Trust Logistics
The Director-General of the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT), Mr Kwesi Afreh Biney, has commissioned new vehicles for Trust Logistics Limited (TLL), an investee company of SSNIT, as part of efforts to strengthen its operations and improve productivity.
The new vehicles are expected to augment TLL’s existing fleet, improve operational efficiency and enhance the company’s capacity to deliver its services effectively.
The investment forms part of SSNIT’s broader commitment to strengthening the performance of its investee companies and maximising value from the scheme's investments.
By supporting the expansion and modernisation of TLL’s fleet, SSNIT aims to position the company for improved operational performance while enhancing its contribution to the overall value of the pension fund’s investment portfolio.
The initiative underscores the importance of strategic investment in SSNIT’s investee companies as the Trust seeks to ensure that assets under its management generate sustainable returns for contributors and pensioners.
