The Mate TV debuts with a 98-inch LCD screen and 144 Hz refresh rate. It comes in Space Grey colour and has a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. It supports MiniLED backlight and a peak brightness of 4200 nits (varies as per size variants).
Huawei Mate TV has an all-metal body with a 36.9 mm thickness and a Paris studs frame. Its ultra-thin bracket creates a 5mm zero-wall-stick design.
Flagship Chips
The biggest highlight of Huawei Mate TV is its flagship smartphone chip. It is the first smart TV to feature a top-end dual-core processor (flagship phone-grade chip), delivering 490% improved performance. Besides, it uses the first independent image-quality chip – Honghu Vivid, which supports real-time 4K resolution.
Some functions that have become more seamless than ever with new chip additions are:
- Apps open in seconds
- Play games at full speed
- Smartly optimises contrast and restores natural light
HarmonyOS 5.1
Another significant highlight of this TV? Well, it runs HarmonyOS 5.1 and comes with Harmony AI features. Moreover, the TV supports Nearlink tech and can easily connect across multiple devices with familiar OS logic. You can customise home screen layouts, smart widgets, lifestyle services, and more with one tap.
Users with further notice:
- 3D light and shadow icons with a built-in magnetic effect for better interaction.
- Light-chasing widgets for a more aesthetic experience.
- Random movie posters appear before your eyes.
