“I Don’t Regret Going To Prison” – Agradaa

Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, the former fetish priestess-turned-evangelist popularly known as Nana Agradaa, says she has no regrets about her time in prison, describing the experience as one that has drawn her closer to God.

Speaking before a church congregation on Sunday, March 22, shortly after her release from Nsawam Prison, she said the period in custody had a profound spiritual impact on her life and strengthened her faith.

“I was sent to prison, but today I say in praise of God’s name that I will never regret going to prison. I will never regret it because what God has given me through this journey is big and cannot be bought with money.

“God has given me the authority and the power in his word to minister to the people of the world that he is the King of kings, and in his absence there is no other God but him, and his kingdom will rule us forever, and nobody can stop us from worshipping him,” she said.

According to her, the experience was transformative, urging the public to hold the works of God in high esteem.

Nana Agradaa was initially sentenced to 15 years’ imprisonment on July 3, 2025, after being convicted of fraud by false pretence and charlatanic advertisement. Her legal team later challenged the ruling, arguing that the sentence was excessive.

Upon review, the Amasaman High Court reduced the sentence to 12 calendar months, describing the original punishment as harsh.

Her release follows Ghana’s standard remission rules after she served two-thirds of the revised sentence.
