Cheddar Donates GHC50,000 to Kantamanto Victims

Nana Kwame Bediako, popularly known as Cheddar, has stepped up to support traders affected by the devastating fire disaster at Kantamanto Market.

The fire, which destroyed over 7,000 shops, left thousands of traders grappling with the loss of their goods and livelihoods.

Cheddar visited the scene of the disaster shortly after the incident to console the victims and announced a donation of GHS 50,000. The sum was handed over to market leaders to be distributed among those most affected.

During his visit, Cheddar encouraged Ghanaians to rally behind the victims during this challenging time.

“As we are all in high spirits for the New Year, let’s try our best to support the victims of the Kantamanto disaster. We are all one people. God bless Ghana,” he said.

The donation has brought much-needed relief to the traders, many of whom are struggling to rebuild their businesses in the aftermath of the fire. Victims expressed profound gratitude for the gesture and called on other philanthropic individuals and organisations to follow Cheddar’s example.
