The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) has expressed enthusiasm and optimism following the appointment of Malik Basintale as the acting chief executive officer (CEO).
The agency’s staff have warmly welcomed their new leader, highlighting his dedication to youth empowerment and his potential to drive innovation and growth.
In a statement, the YEA described Mr. Basintale as a visionary leader whose passion for the development of Ghanaian youth aligns with the agency’s goals.
“We are delighted to welcome Malik Basintale to the Youth Employment Agency. His commitment to ensuring the growth and success of the youth gives us confidence in his ability to lead with passion and innovation,” the statement read.
Established over 19 years ago, the Youth Employment Agency has undergone various transformations, striving to create opportunities for young people across Ghana. While acknowledging past successes and challenges, the agency expressed hope that Mr. Basintale’s leadership would steer them toward a more impactful future.
“The lessons we have learnt over the years have strengthened our resolve to make the youth proud of this agency. We eagerly anticipate Mr. Basintale’s fresh ideas and innovative approaches to move us forward,” the statement added.
The agency further assured the new CEO of their unwavering support, pledging to safeguard his leadership from any attempts at political interference or undue criticism.
“We will stand with you against any faceless individuals with political motives who seek to tarnish your image. Together, we will remain focused on the mission to uplift the youth of Ghana,” the statement emphasised.
The staff expressed their excitement to work under Mr. Basintale’s leadership and their readiness to contribute to the agency’s success.
“Welcome, Mr. Malik Basintale. We are eager to work with you and achieve great strides in youth development,” the statement concluded.
