A disturbing video circulating on social media has captured a man, alleged to be a military officer, physically assaulting a pharmacist and a female customer at a pharmacy near Burma Camp in Accra.
The incident, which reportedly occurred around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, shows the tall, dark-complexioned man engaging in a heated verbal exchange with the pharmacist before suddenly slapping him across the face.
Moments later, the footage shows a female customer attempting to record the altercation on her phone, only for the man to turn on her aggressively, striking her multiple times in the head. The woman can be seen recoiling in shock as the man continues to attack her before turning back to the pharmacist and landing several more blows.

Eyewitnesses say the assault left both victims visibly shaken, with some customers fleeing the shop in fear.
The video in circulation on social media has sparked widespread outrage online, with many Ghanaians calling for immediate action from the Ghana Police Service and the Ghana Armed Forces, given the suspect’s alleged military background.
As of the time of this report, the police have not issued an official statement, and it remains unclear whether the suspect has been identified or arrested.
The Ghana Pharmaceutical Society is also expected to respond to the attack, which many have condemned as a brazen act of impunity against health workers and civilians.
This incident adds to growing concerns about rising cases of assault on essential service workers, and many are calling for swift investigations and prosecution to deter future occurrences.
