VIDEO: 70% of Men Don’t Know How to Satisfy a Woman — Dr Charity Twumasi Ankrah
Dr Charity Twumasi Ankrah, Chief Executive Officer of Chartma Herbal Health Centre and a certified Korean hand therapist, has ignited widespread public debate following candid remarks on intimacy and relationships during Joy Prime’s Let’s Talk show, where she appeared as a panellist.
Speaking frankly on the programme, Dr Twumasi Ankrah argued that sexual satisfaction plays a major role in why many women remain committed in relationships, sometimes even in difficult circumstances.
According to her, a significant number of men misunderstand women’s sexual needs, often assuming that intimacy is complete once their own needs are met.

She suggested that this disconnect leaves many women emotionally and physically unfulfilled, stressing that intimacy is not just about physical contact but understanding what brings genuine satisfaction to a partner.
In one of the most striking moments of the discussion, Dr Twumasi Ankrah estimated that “about 70 per cent of men do not know how to help a woman reach sexual satisfaction.”
She explained that many men equate sex solely with penetration, without recognising that women experience pleasure differently.
According to her, women are often able to tell whether a man understands their needs or not, and this awareness can significantly influence emotional attachment and loyalty within relationships.
“When intimacy is fulfilling, a woman feels seen, valued and connected,” she implied, adding that this sense of connection can strongly affect relationship decisions.
Dr Twumasi Ankrah emphasised that her comments were not meant to sensationalise sex but to highlight a deeper issue of communication and education between partners. She noted that many men have never been properly taught about female sexuality, while women are often reluctant to speak openly about their needs due to cultural expectations.
She urged couples to prioritise honest conversations about intimacy, mutual respect and emotional safety, arguing that these are essential for healthy and lasting relationships.
