Vice President Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, on behalf of President John Dramani Mahama, has held a farewell meeting with the outgoing Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Ghana, Abdulfatah Ahmed Khalifa Al Sattari.
The meeting took place in Accra on Tuesday, December 16, and was attended by the Palestinian Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Varsen Aghabekian, as well as Ghana’s Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, James Gyakye Quayson.

Ambassador Al Sattari is concluding eleven years of diplomatic service in Ghana. The Vice President commended him for his professionalism, consistency and dedication, noting his significant contribution to the strengthening of Ghana–Palestine relations.

Prof. Opoku-Agyemang expressed the government’s appreciation for the ambassador’s role in promoting bilateral cooperation and mutual understanding between the two countries.
She wished him well in his future assignments and expressed confidence that the cordial relations he helped to build would continue to endure.
