A tragic incident has unfolded in Twifo Praso, located in the Twifo Atti Morkwa District of the Central Region, where a teenager, Nana Zinabu, aged between 18 and 19, was discovered dead in her bedroom.
The young woman was found lying naked with three used condoms nearby, sparking concerns and fears within the local community.
According to an eyewitness, who resides in the same house, the body was discovered early in the morning, around 4:30 a.m.

The eyewitness went to prepare food for sale and noticed that Nana Zinabu’s door was unusually open. Upon entering, she found the victim’s body and observed that her mouth had been sealed with a substance resembling super glue. Apples were also found near the body.
Disturbed by the discovery, the eyewitness immediately raised the alarm, and the incident was reported to the Praso Police Station.
The unsettling circumstances of the teenager’s death have sent shockwaves through the community, particularly as Nana Zinabu had been set to graduate from her sewing apprenticeship later this year. The tragic event has left residents of Praso fearful and anxious, as the cause of her death remains unclear.
The body of Nana Zinabu has been taken to the Twifo Atti Morkwa District Hospital for further examination.
In a statement, Superintendent Charles Addei Boateng, the District Commander for Twifo Atti Morkwa, assured the public that investigations are underway, with authorities promising to bring those responsible to justice.
