Public Relations Officer for BHIM Nation, Vida Adutwum, has clarified the circumstances under which dancehall heavyweight Shatta Wale could appear at Stonebwoy’s BHIM Festival, slated for December 24.
Speaking in an interview, Vida Adutwum revealed that Shatta Wale is indeed welcome to grace the stage—but only if he is prepared to perform with a live band.
According to her, the decision aligns with the creative direction of this year’s BHIM Festival, which is designed to offer fans a fresh, unique, and musically rich experience, distinct from the many events lined up for the Christmas season.

“Our team wants to give fans something different: fresh memories and a unique vibe,” she explained. “So we are inviting people who are creative and willing to conform to the dynamics of creativity.”
Her comments came in response to a question about whether fans should expect Shatta Wale at the event. In her reply, Vida posed a rhetorical question that quickly caught attention.
“Is Stonebwoy not enough?” she asked, stressing that the festival’s focus will be on live band performances.
She emphasised that the BHIM Festival is intentionally curated to stand out amid the crowded festive calendar, noting that not every event has to follow the same performance formula.
“There are many events this Christmas,” she said. “We want to give a different vibe to our fans. That’s why people who are willing to conform to creative directions are invited.”
