Rev. Wengam Declares: God Will Make a Way Through the Wilderness for Ghana

Rev. Dr. Stephen Wengam, General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana, has assured President John Dramani Mahama and the nation of divine intervention in navigating the current economic and social challenges.

Speaking at the National Prayer and Thanksgiving Service held at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) on Sunday, Rev. Wengam offered a prophetic message, declaring that Ghana is on the verge of a new era.

“One chapter has closed in our political history, and God is ushering Ghana into a new season,” Rev. Wengam said. “The challenges we face today are a sign that God is actively at work to bring about renewal and transformation.”

In a poignant address to President Mahama, Rev. Wengam encouraged him to embrace the difficulties of the time as an opportunity to lead Ghana into its next chapter. “Your Excellency, God is saying to you: ‘I will make a way in the wilderness.’ Leaders who shape history are those who find solutions in times of great challenge,” he remarked.

He further assured the nation of God’s unwavering guidance, stating, “Ghana will not be forsaken. I proclaim today that through faith, determination, and leadership, this country will rise from the wilderness to experience a new dawn of progress and unity.”

Rev. Wengam’s powerful words resonated with attendees, instilling hope and reaffirming the belief that Ghana’s challenges will lead to triumph through divine grace and inspired leadership.
