Obour Resigns as Ghana Post MD

Bice Osei Kuffour, popularly known as Obour, has officially stepped down as Managing Director of Ghana Post, ending a transformative two-year tenure.

His resignation, announced on March 12 via Facebook, marks the conclusion of a leadership era that redefined the institution’s trajectory.

Since assuming office on January 4, 2022, Obour has spearheaded a bold agenda aimed at digitalisation, operational efficiency, and financial sustainability. Under his leadership, Ghana Post evolved into a more competitive and customer-focused logistics service provider, with increased brand visibility and strategic growth.

Expressing his appreciation, Obour extended gratitude to former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for the opportunity to serve. He also lauded the Minister of Communications and Digitalisation, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, and the Board of Directors for their unwavering support.

“As I step down to pursue new opportunities, I sincerely thank Hon. Ursula Owusu, the Board of Directors, and the hard-working team at Ghana Post. Their dedication and teamwork have been instrumental in our success,” he stated.

While his next move remains undisclosed, Obour’s extensive background in entertainment, business, and governance hints at exciting prospects ahead. Whether in public service or another arena, his leadership journey is far from over.
