The National Investigations Bureau (NIB) has invited the Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC, to appear before the agency on Monday, February 26, 2025.
The invitation follows allegations made by Abronye DC against President John Dramani Mahama. According to a letter obtained by Puretvonline, the NIB is summoning him to provide evidence to support his claims.
Abronye DC alleged that President Mahama withheld GH₵550 million intended for dismissed appointees at the Jubilee House. He made these claims during an appearance on Accra-based Movement Television, where he further accused the government of corruption in its recruitment and revocation processes.

The NIB’s communique emphasises the need for him to clarify his statements and substantiate the allegations. While no official charges have been disclosed, the Bureau’s invitation signals a move to verify the authenticity of his claims.
Abronye DC, known for his outspoken and controversial political commentary, has not yet publicly responded to the summons. However, sources close to him suggest he remains resolute in his assertions.
