In a bid to enhance public safety during the festive season, the Greater Accra Regional Police Command has arrested 101 suspects in a series of targeted operations across key areas of the region, including Kwame Nkrumah Circle, Nungua, Adabraka, Achimota, East Legon, and Railways.
The initiative, part of the command’s intensified Christmas Special Operations, focused on curbing criminal activities such as armed robbery, pickpocketing, and other offences that threaten residents and visitors during the busy holiday period.
Authorities confirmed that all 101 individuals are now in police custody, assisting with investigations into their roles in criminal networks. Police assured the public that efforts will continue to maintain law and order, especially during the festive season, and urged citizens to remain vigilant and cooperate with law enforcement.
