The Pilgrims Affairs Office of Ghana (PAOG) has announced Monday, February 16, 2026, as the final date for all prospective Hajj pilgrims to submit their Ghanaian passports for visa processing to the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The directive applies to all pilgrims who have completed payment for this year’s Hajj, whether through agents, direct payment, or special arrangements. Passports must be submitted to the PAOG Secretariat by the stated deadline, as failure to do so will result in exclusion from participation in the 2026 pilgrimage.
PAOG stated that the deadline aligns with Saudi authorities’ fast-track visa processing requirements and emphasised that the office is working with the Passport Office to facilitate expedited services for urgent cases. The policy applies to all fully paid pilgrims without exception.
