Attorney General to Meet ORAL Committee Over Asset Recovery Progress
Dr. Dominic Ayine, the attorney general and minister of justice, is scheduled to meet with the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) Committee next week to assess its efforts in retrieving looted public assets and review key findings.
The ORAL Committee, established to investigate corruption and recover stolen public resources, has so far received over 700 petitions from individuals and organisations across the country.
Dr. Ayine indicated that the meeting, likely to take place on Monday, will provide an opportunity to evaluate the committee’s progress and strategise on the next steps.

“The ORAL Committee will brief me next week on their progress, and I will officially take over their findings to ensure appropriate action is taken,” he stated.
This meeting is expected to be a pivotal moment in the government’s fight against corruption, reinforcing its commitment to reclaiming stolen assets and promoting transparency in public office.
