President Mahama Swears in Newly Appointed Deputy Ministers

President John Dramani Mahama has officially sworn in a new batch of deputy ministers, including John Dumelo as Deputy Minister of Food and Agriculture and Alhassan Suhuyini as Deputy Minister of Roads and Highways.

The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Jubilee House on Wednesday, March 12, following their successful vetting and approval by Parliament.

The newly appointed deputy ministers are expected to assist their sector ministers in implementing government policies and driving national development initiatives.

During the ceremony, President Mahama charged the appointees to work diligently in serving the interests of Ghanaians and contributing meaningfully to national progress.

“Your appointments come with great responsibility. I urge you to bring dedication, innovation, and teamwork to your respective ministries to help fulfil our government’s vision for the nation,” he stated.

The newly sworn-in deputy ministers assured the president and the Ghanaian people of their commitment to their roles.

President Mahama reiterated that the appointments reflect the government’s commitment to effective governance and national development. The deputy ministers are expected to immediately begin work, collaborating with their sector ministers to implement policies that will improve the lives of Ghanaians.
