The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has launched a court-authorised raid on the offices of Strategic Mobilisation Ghana Limited (SML) as part of its ongoing probe into the controversial revenue assurance contract.
The simultaneous search at SML’s Osu and Tema offices was carried out with support from the National Security Secretariat, sources told Myjoyonline.
Investigators are seeking electronic data from the company’s servers, believed to hold key details on the deal that has come under intense scrutiny over procurement processes and financial accountability.

The operation comes amid a major twist in the investigation: former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta, a central figure in the case, has been declared a fugitive from justice by the Special Prosecutor after failing to respond to repeated summonses.
The OSP’s move signals a decisive push toward unearthing the full extent of the SML contract saga, which has raised serious concerns over government transparency and oversight.
