The National Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye (Nana B), has accused the National Investigations Bureau (NIB) of selective justice following its decision to summon Bono Regional Chairman, Kwame Baffoe (Abronye DC), for questioning.
Speaking on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem, Nana B condemned what he described as a witch-hunt against NPP members under the administration of President John Mahama.
Nana B questioned why the NIB was quick to act on allegations made by Abronye DC but had remained silent on similar accusations made by National Democratic Congress (NDC) officials in the past.

He cited instances where former President Mahama and Ningo-Prampram MP Sam George made corruption claims against the Akufo-Addo administration, yet none of them were summoned for interrogation.
“This level of selective justice is unacceptable. We will not allow any attempt to intimidate NPP members,” he stated.
Nana B further confirmed that Abronye DC will honour the invitation on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, but will not go alone. He revealed that top party executives would accompany him to the NIB offices to ensure transparency and prevent any politically motivated persecution.
“We are not against accountability, but we will resist any abuse of state institutions for political victimisation,” Nana B warned.
The NPP National Organiser urged the NIB to maintain its independence and avoid being used as a tool for political oppression, stressing that the party will not remain silent in the face of injustice.
