Nene Drolor Bosso Adamtey I has been elected as the Greater Accra Region’s representative on the Council of State after securing 40 votes in a closely contested election.
The election initially featured 13 candidates, but before voting began, three aspirants—Obed Nyarko, Albert Borketey Naawu, and Musah Ziyad—stepped down, reducing the competition to 10 contenders.
Despite the strong field, Nene Drolor Bosso Adamtey I emerged victorious, earning the confidence of the delegates and the mandate to represent Greater Accra at the national level.
