The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Spain Branch has congratulated Hon. Alex Segbefia on his recent appointment as Chief of Staff to Her Excellency Prof. Jane Nana Opoku Agyemang, the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana.
In a statement issued by the NDC Spain Branch, Interim Secretary Hanson Dartey emphasised that Hon. Segbefia’s appointment is a testament to his outstanding leadership, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the progress and development of Ghana.
As a seasoned public servant, Hon. Segbefia has consistently demonstrated the ability to unite diverse groups and contribute to the advancement of national goals.

“We are proud to congratulate Hon. Alex Segbefia, and we recognise the important role he will play in supporting the vice president. His wealth of experience, professionalism, and passion for public service will undoubtedly serve as invaluable assets to the Office of the Vice President,” said Dartey.
Hon. Segbefia has made significant contributions to the NDC diaspora, particularly in his capacity as Director of NDC Diaspora.
He was instrumental in expanding the party’s presence abroad by establishing new branches and strengthening the existing ones, inspiring members to actively support the party’s initiatives.
The NDC Spain Branch expressed confidence in Hon. Segbefia’s ability to continue exemplifying the party’s values of hard work, integrity, and selfless service to the nation. “We have no doubt that he will excel in his new role and continue to make both the party and Ghana proud,” Dartey concluded.
