The president highlighted the distinction between political campaigns and governance, emphasising that while winning elections is a significant achievement, the real challenge lies in delivering on promises and alleviating the hardships experienced by Ghanaians.
“Campaigns and elections are easy. The more difficult part is how to meet the challenge that is facing us, especially now that our country is in a deep economic crisis. How we work to meet the expectations of the Ghanaian people and eliminate the hardship that they are facing is the task that we are currently confronted with,” President Mahama stated.
Despite the daunting economic landscape, President Mahama reiterated his belief that his administration’s youthful and talented team is well-equipped to implement policies that will stabilise the economy and foster sustainable growth. He reaffirmed his commitment to leading Ghana towards a prosperous future through strategic governance and effective leadership.
