The government has appointed Michael Harry Yamson as the new Administrator of the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF), entrusting him with the responsibility of enhancing efficiency, transparency, and accountability in the management of the fund.

Currently serving as a board member at Unichem Ghana Group, Yamson has been the managing partner at Ishmael Yamson & Associates since 2021.
His career spans prominent leadership roles at multinational companies, including Unilever, Celtel International, and MTI Ghana Limited, where he played a pivotal role in brand development, investment strategy, and market expansion.
A graduate of the University of Leeds, he is widely recognised for his expertise in innovation, team leadership, and business growth strategies.
His appointment comes at a crucial time when the effective management of the DACF is essential for addressing infrastructural gaps and improving service delivery at the district level.
