Kwahu Obomeng Chief Vies for Eastern Region’s Council of State Seat
The Chief of Kwahu Obomeng, Odeefour Effah Opinaman III, has officially declared his candidacy for the Council of State elections, representing the Eastern Region.
He has called on regional delegates to support his bid, emphasising his commitment to fostering development and ensuring the region’s concerns are effectively addressed at the national level.
Speaking ahead of the elections scheduled for February 11, 2025, Odeefour Effah Opinaman III outlined his vision, which includes championing policies aimed at economic growth, job creation, and youth empowerment.
He highlighted his extensive leadership experience and dedication to public service as key factors that make him an ideal candidate for the position.
As number 11 on the ballot, the traditional leader has pledged to bridge the gap between local governance and national decision-making.
His campaign focuses on strengthening collaboration between traditional authorities and government, prioritising essential infrastructure development, and tailoring policies to meet the specific needs of the Eastern Region.
Additionally, he has committed to advocating for sustainable development projects and policies that will enhance the quality of life for residents.
