James Agyenim-Boateng has been appointed as the new Managing Director of SIC Insurance Company, effective January 27, 2025.
He replaces Hollistar Duah-Yentumi, whose tenure has officially come to an end.
Agyenim-Boateng, a lawyer, communications consultant, and seasoned media professional, is known for his extensive experience in governance and strategic communications. His background includes serving as a presidential staffer at the Office of the Vice President from 2013 to 2017, a role that honed his expertise in high-level governmental affairs.
His appointment marks a fresh chapter for SIC Insurance, as Agyenim-Boateng is expected to bring innovative leadership and direction to the company.
His experience in governance and strategic communication positions him well to steer the company through a changing insurance landscape.
Hollistar Duah-Yentumi, the outgoing Managing Director, leaves behind a distinguished legacy at SIC Insurance. A lawyer and journalist, Duah-Yentumi’s impressive academic and professional background includes degrees in law and political science from the University of Ghana and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Maryland’s Francis King Carey School of Law.
Additionally, she holds a diploma in journalism from the Ghana Institute of Journalism. Her diverse career in law, media, and academia has contributed to her professional stature, and her tenure at SIC Insurance was marked by dedication and professionalism.
With this leadership transition, SIC Insurance looks ahead to continued growth and success under Agyenim-Boateng’s leadership.
