The incident reportedly took place at his Cantonments home in Accra while he was receiving medical care abroad.

Eyewitness accounts indicate that about 12 individuals participated in the operation—five in military uniforms, one in a police uniform, and the rest in plain clothes.
The footage reportedly shows at least three uniformed men acting under the directive of a civilian. Their movements were recorded in multiple areas of the residence, though it remains unclear what transpired inside or whether any valuables were taken.
Despite the clarity of the images, no official identification of the individuals has been made.
The emergence of this footage comes shortly after Special Prosecutor Kissi Agyebeng denied that his office was behind the raid.
Meanwhile, Puretvonline has not independently verified the authenticity of the footage.
The former finance minister has been declared a fugitive by the Office of the Special Prosecutor, which has invited him to respond to allegations of corruption.
