The Managing Director of Agricultural Development Bank PLC, Mr. Alhassan Yakubu-Tali, has officially resigned from his position, effective Wednesday, February 5, 2025.
His resignation follows the nomination of a new managing director by the bank’s majority shareholder.
Mr. Yakubu-Tali took on the role of Managing Director on December 1, 2022, after previously serving as Deputy Managing Director from August 2017 to November 2022. During his tenure, he led a two-year corporate strategy that significantly improved the bank’s capital and asset base.

In a statement issued on February 6, 2025, the Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) acknowledged his contributions and impact on the institution. The board, management, and staff extended their gratitude for his service and wished him well in his future endeavours.
