Pastor Reveals Money Ritual Made Him Wealthy for Five Years Before Losing Leg in Accident

A Nigerian pastor, Joel Adedeji, has recounted how his involvement in a money ritual brought him wealth for about four to five years before his fortunes took a dramatic turn, eventually leading to the amputation of one of his legs.

Adedeji, who is based in Ogbomosho, made the revelation in an interview with BBC Yoruba, where he narrated how his desperation for a financial breakthrough pushed him to seek spiritual assistance from a traditional herbalist during his younger years.

According to him, the herbalist gave him unusual instructions involving a woman he found attractive as part of the ritual intended to bring him wealth.

He said he was instructed to have sexual intercourse with the woman and use a piece of cloth to wipe her private parts afterwards.

Adedeji disclosed that he followed the instructions and began experiencing financial success, although the herbalist later demanded additional rituals.

“The baba said I should look for someone I like and have intercourse with her and use a cloth to clean her private part once I am done. After I did that, truly money came, honestly, then he asked me to bring more,” he recounted.

The pastor said the herbalist subsequently warned him that although he would become wealthy, he would never be able to use the money to acquire certain properties, particularly a car or a house.

He explained that he enjoyed the financial benefits for approximately four to five years before experiencing difficulties.

Accident Leads to Amputation of His Leg

Recounting the circumstances surrounding the loss of his leg, Adedeji said he was involved in an accident involving a vehicle he owned but had given to someone who had borrowed money from him to purchase it.

He said the vehicle eventually hit him, leaving him seriously injured and requiring hospitalisation.

“Before I knew it, I got hit and landed in the hospital, and before I woke up the next day, my leg had been amputated,” he recounted.

Reflecting on his experience, the pastor urged young people to resist the temptation of pursuing quick wealth through questionable spiritual practices.

He advised the youth to exercise patience and avoid desperate decisions that could negatively affect their future.

Adedeji stressed that the pursuit of financial success should not come at the expense of one's life and long-term wellbeing.
