Ministry of Health opens doors for 15,200 new nurses and midwives

Starting Monday, August 5, 2024, the Ministry of Health (MoH) is set to recruit 15,200 nurses and midwives, thanks to financial clearance from the Ministry of Finance (MoF).

In an announcement on Friday, July 26, 2024, the MoH confirmed the green light for this significant recruitment drive. Aspiring candidates are encouraged to apply via the MoH’s online portal, with the application window closing on Friday, August 23, 2024.

The Ministry has made it clear that the recruitment process is entirely free, urging applicants not to fall prey to any fraudulent entities or individuals demanding payment for application facilitation. This initiative marks a significant step in bolstering the nation’s healthcare workforce.
