NAGRAT demands replacement of NASIA Head for inadequate performance and lack of teacher union engagement

The National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT) is calling for the removal of Dr. Haggar Hilda Ampadu, the Executive Director of the National Schools Inspectorate Authority (NASIA).

NAGRAT claims that NASIA has failed to collaborate effectively with teacher unions and has sidelined trained teachers under the Ghana Education Service for school inspections.

NAGRAT President Angel Carbonu criticised Dr. Ampadu’s leadership, citing the absence of quarterly inspection reports and a lack of engagement with teacher representatives over the past six years.

Carbonu is urging the government to appoint a more competent leader for NASIA.
