In a move to support healthcare delivery and community welfare, the Mpoasei District of the Church of Pentecost in the Dansoman Area has donated assorted items to St Martin’s Memory Hospital, aimed at reducing operational pressure on the facility.
The outreach, which took place at the hospital located in Dansoman-Glefe, saw the church present a variety of items including medical equipment, bottled water, toiletries, liquid soap, diapers, detergents, and soft drinks to aid healthcare delivery and patient care.

District Women’s Ministry Leader, Deaconess Helana Amoako, said the gesture reflects the church’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and its mission to impact lives beyond the pulpit.

She noted that the outreach formed part of activities marking the church’s Women’s Week celebration, adding that members chose to extend kindness to the needy within the community.
“We believe in showing love through action, and this is one way of supporting institutions that serve the public,” she said.

Beyond the donation, the church members also spent time interacting with patients, offering encouragement and sharing the word of God, bringing hope and comfort to those receiving care.
Receiving the items on behalf of the hospital, Service Administrator Believe Kudolor commended the church for the timely intervention, describing it as a significant boost to the facility’s efforts in delivering quality healthcare.

He further appealed for continued assistance from organisations and individuals to help meet the growing needs of the hospital.
The initiative underscores the important role of faith-based organisations in supporting national development, particularly in the health sector, where such contributions help improve patient care and ease the burden on medical institutions.
