In season 17 of the well-liked television programme Britain’s Got Talent, the Ghanaian dance team Abigail and Afronita came in third. On Sunday night, the final took place.
Afronita, 20, a dance instructor, and her student Abigail, 7, were two of the ten finalists, along with a magician, a Japanese skipping club, and a chorus.
First place went to singer Sydnie Christmas; second place went to Jack Rhodes; third place went to Abigail and Afronitaaa.
In addition to winning a cheque for £250,000, Sydnie will also get the opportunity to participate in the Royal Variety Performance.
The Ghanaian pair had already qualified for Sunday’s final after winning the public vote in the fourth semifinal.
