Apologize to Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang and Ghanaian Youths within 48 hours or …..- NDC Adentan Constituency Youths warn Akosua Manu

NDC Youths in Adentan Constituency have descended heavily on the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Adentan constituency, Akosua Manu, for unpleasant comments made against the NDC running mate, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang.

According to the NDC youths, Akosua Manu, who is the Deputy Director of the National Youth Authority (NYA), has not been able to provide a single job for the youths in Adentan, but, all they see her do in the constituency is to drive big cars (Lexus Land-cruiser) with thick make-up, a Turkish self-created backside (buttocks) and wear expensive perfumes, and yet she finds it prudent to rather pass very ignorant comments on the 24-hour economy that seeks to provide jobs for the teeming unemployed youth of this country including the Youth of Adentan.

The youths added that this policy is the same policy that has been accepted by the TUC and other well-meaning organizations that understand the impact of the policy on our struggle against unemployment in Ghana.

“As if that was not enough, she went ahead to insult the Age of Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang and called her all sorts of names, stating emphatically that her age could not merit her a running mate position and that old women are not fit to be placed at the front line of politics,” they added.

The Youths stated that the words of Akosua Manu are insults to women in this country, Adenta constituency, which includes the market women, Waakye sellers, female nurses, hairdressers, beauticians among others.

The youths issued 48 hours for the NPP Parliamentary Candidate to apologize to the youths in Adentan constituency for the derogatory statements made against the 24-hour economy which will provide jobs for the people of Ghanaians and also apologies to Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang or face their wrath in the constituency.
