aYo Ghana donates IT tools to support ICT education in Vume–Kpoviadzi
As part of its 2024 corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, aYo Intermediaries Ghana, a leading microinsurance company, has donated essential IT tools to the Vume–Kpoviadzi community in the Volta Region to enhance ICT education in the area.
The donation, which included a laptop and a projector, aims to improve teaching and learning of ICT in the only community school serving the area.
The brief presentation ceremony was graced by the CEO of aYo Ghana, Francis Gota, along with members of his management team. Also present were the school’s headmaster and key stakeholders from the community.
Francis Gota emphasised aYo’s commitment to technology and its potential to transform lives. “aYo believes in technology, and thus its products and services leverage technology heavily. We are hopeful that this tool will empower the young ones in their studies and enable them to develop careers in technology,” he stated.
The donation was met with excitement and gratitude from the residents of the community, who believe it will greatly enhance the teaching and learning of ICT and other subjects in the school.
