Hopeson Adorye, the head of Alan Kyerematen’s Movement for Change, has spoken out following his bailout.

Hopeson Adorye, accompanied by his wife Empress Gifty, in a viral video, calls his arrest a “blessing in disguise.”

He claims that someone with 25–30 years of political experience will be able to achieve such fame.

According to Hopeson Adorye, “the whole was discussing me,” which was a significant political statement.

His spouse, Empress Gifty, retorted, “That person will die if they don’t get a wife who is firm and trusts in God.”

BACKGROUND

The Dansoman Circuit Court on Thursday, May 23, 2024, granted GH₵20,000 in bail to the leading member of Alan Kyerematen’s Movement for Change, Hopeson Adorye, with two sureties, one to be justified.

This was when he appeared before the court, presided over by Her Honour Alima Abdul El-Lawal Basit, on Thursday.

He has been charged with the publication of false news.
