The Eastern South Regional Police Command has arrested a man identified as Alhaji Abdul Wahab in connection with a viral video in which he allegedly issued death threats against the Minority Leader of Parliament, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, and two others.
According to a police statement issued on Monday, September 15, 2025, the suspect was apprehended in Koforidua and has since been cautioned and granted bail.
He has been directed to report to the Regional Police Headquarters in Kyebi on Monday to assist further with investigations.

The statement, signed by DSP David Fianko-Okyere of the Public Affairs Unit, assured the public of a fair and transparent probe and pledged to provide timely updates as the case progresses.
