Hot FM’s De Kay Demands Arrest of Ralph Saint Williams Over Actions That Led to Child’s Death and Ridge Hospital Chaos
Hot FM’s Morning Drive host, Nana Addai (De Kay), has launched a scathing attack on social media activist Ralph Saint Williams, calling for his immediate arrest over what he described as a pattern of reckless and heartless behaviour that has already cost an innocent life.
The fiery broadcaster linked Ralph to two disturbing incidents — the latest being the viral video from the Greater Accra Regional Hospital (Ridge) where relatives of a patient, led by Ralph, were seen physically assaulting medical staff at the emergency ward.
The incident has sparked outrage across the country and prompted the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA) to issue a 48-hour ultimatum to police to arrest Ralph and his accomplices or face further industrial action.

But De Kay insists the Ridge incident is not an isolated case, recalling a heartbreaking tragedy in 2024 during the “Fix the Country” demonstration at the 37 Military Hospital.
According to him, his best friend, identified only as Fred, lost his young daughter because Ralph allegedly blocked access to the hospital with demonstrators.
“My friend was rushing his dying daughter to 37 Military Hospital, but Ralph and his people had mounted barricades. Fred begged him to let them pass, but Ralph coldly refused, saying, ‘What will happen if his daughter dies? After all, Ghana’s population is too big.’ Sadly, the little girl died that day because of his wickedness,” De Kay emotionally recounted on air.

Drawing a parallel between the child’s tragic death and Ralph’s recent behaviour at Ridge, De Kay argued that the activist’s conduct consistently shows a dangerous disregard for human life.
“You are a foolish boy to call for an emergency and act this way at Ridge Hospital. Do you even know what an emergency is? You caused my best friend to lose his daughter at 37, and today you are again disrupting doctors and nurses trying to save lives. You must be arrested immediately,” he charged.
