The Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs has released a new list of District Chief Executive (DCE) nominees for several regions across Ghana. The nominations are subject to approval by the respective district assemblies.
This latest batch includes nominees from the Bono East, Bono, Upper West, Western, and Central Regions, as well as additional names from the Upper East, Northern, and Ashanti Regions.
According to the ministry, the appointments are part of the government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen local governance and ensure effective leadership at the district level.

Nominees will assume office only after securing the required endorsement from their respective assemblies.
The announcement comes just a week after an earlier list of DCE nominations was made public.
