The Sunyani Traditional Council has officially named Yaw Agyare, a 46-year-old native of the Kwantwiwaa Lineage of the Boahen Korkor Royal Family, as the new Omanhene.
His appointment follows the passing of Nana Bosoma Asor Nkrawiri II, marking the beginning of a new era of leadership and development for the Sunyani Traditional Area.

Yaw Agyare is a distinguished alumnus of Sunyani Polytechnic and the Catholic University, where he laid the foundation for his professional and personal growth.
He previously worked as the IT Manager for the National Health Insurance Authority in Dormaa-Ahenkro before relocating to the United States.
Currently, he serves with the Maryland Police and Correctional Training Commissions, where his expertise and leadership continue to shine.
