Hundreds of devotees gathered at the Babana Shrine in Dambai, Krachi East Municipality, on Wednesday to celebrate an annual thanksgiving service filled with prayers, music, and testimonies.
Led by the shrine’s priest, Mr. Edo Awudi, the event featured traditional music, dancing, and offerings of sacrifices. Worshippers expressed gratitude to the gods for their blessings and protection throughout the year.
Many worshippers shared powerful stories of healing. Madam Besrulim Gladys revealed she had suffered from spiritual seizures that left her collapsing frequently. “After meeting the shrine priest, I was healed completely,” she shared.
Similarly, Mr. Yaw Tangbma recounted battling severe spiritual attacks that defied medical solutions. “Hospitals couldn’t help, but after my sister brought me here, I’m completely healed,” he said.
The two-day event, ending on December 26, showcased the vibrant cultural heritage of the community. Shrine authorities praised the large turnout as a sign of the site’s importance, encouraging worshippers to maintain their spiritual commitments.
Worshippers left the celebration feeling spiritually renewed and hopeful, already anticipating next year’s thanksgiving at the Babana Shrine.
