Ghanaian popular celebrity, Yvonne Nelson is thinking of publishing a follow-up to her much-discussed memoir, “I Am Not Yvonne Nelson,” one year after its original release stirred intense discussion and attention from the public.
Following its publication, the memoir—which contains her intimate insights about her family, love life, abortion, and battle to find her identity and place in the world—became a hot issue for several weeks.
Thinking back on the anniversary of its release, Yvonne Nelson conveyed her appreciation for the public’s support and alluded to the prospect of revealing more of her own truth.
She recently discussed her opinions on the responses her memoir received on social media.
“The affection from those who understand! the animosity of people who haven’t read it! The disagreements and discussions from less courageous people, as well as the assessments from those with more sinister secrets… I took a step back, looked around, and thought to myself, TRUTH, IT IS DROWNING IN LIES. Part 2? Let’s observe.
Yvonne Nelson also emphasised the benefits of her book tour, known as “The Real Tour,” citing it as one of the most satisfying experiences she has had since the publication of her memoir.
She noted the unique moments shared with her readers and conveyed her happiness at the responses of her audience throughout these occurrences.
The actress went on to declare that she was going to start giving away free copies of her book.
