VIDEO: Shatta Wale sobs and bows down to express regret to Mahama

Dr. Lawrence Tetteh, the founder of Worldwide Miracle Outreach, has described a remarkable encounter between dancehall king Shatta Wale and former president John Mahama that occurred aboard a plane.

Over the weekend, Dr. Lawrence Tetteh disclosed that he and the two passengers happened to board the same airline for London, and their seats weren’t too far apart.

According to him, he was approached by Shatta Wale to lead him to John Mahama’s aisle for a brief encounter, which he agreed to, being a mutual of the two parties.

“Shatta Wale came to me and said ‘my father, I want you to do me a favour. I threw certain words at former President Mahama and I feel very guilty to go to him.’ I held his hand and I marched him there. It was on the plane, publicly and I have videos of it I will share”.

Dr Tetteh said he was left bewildered when Shatta Wale broke down in tears and went on his knees when ushered to Mahama’s seat.

He disclosed that Shatta expressed his heartfelt regret to the former President for making fun of him during one of his uncalled-for outbursts a few years prior.

When Shatta addressed the crowd during Mr. Mahama’s campaign tour, their bond was shattered by his rudeness.

However, Dr. Lawrence stated in a GTV interview that Puretvonline.com viewed that Mr. Mahama accepted the apology in full and even made light of the circumstance.

But he advised him to behave well because he was a role model.

According to Dr. Tetteh, Shatta demonstrated humility, acknowledged his mistakes, and vowed not to repeat his behavior.
