VIDEO: Osei Kyei-Mensah Bonsu urges party to amplify Bawumia’s vision ahead of 2024 elections

Hon. Osei Kyei-Mensah Bonsu, the Member of Parliament for Suame Constituency and Chairman of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) manifesto committee, has called on the party to ensure that the vision of their flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, is effectively communicated to the Ghanaian electorate as the 2024 elections approach.

Speaking with the media at the NPP’s Manifesto Launch on Sunday, August 18, 2024 at Tarkoradi, Kyei-Mensah Bonsu emphasised the importance of Ghanaians fully grasping the message and aspirations of Dr. Bawumia.

He noted that while the manifesto outlines the party’s plans, the onus is on the party members to work diligently to resonate these ideas with the public.

“A lot of work needs to be done to ensure that Dr. Bawumia’s vision transcends to the people. It’s crucial that Ghanaians understand our message so they can make an informed choice at the polls,” Kyei-Mensah Bonsu stated.

The NPP’s recently unveiled manifesto, titled “Selfless Leadership, Bold Solutions for Jobs and Business,” outlines the party’s roadmap for the next four years.

During the launch, Dr. Bawumia passionately appealed to the electorate to support his candidacy, promising to deliver significant changes in governance and economic prosperity if elected.

The manifesto event, held at the Ghana Secondary Technical School (GSTS) in Takoradi, was attended by key party figures and supporters from across the country.

The party leadership is optimistic that the detailed blueprint will inspire confidence among voters, helping the NPP to secure another term in office.

In his address, Dr. Bawumia outlined his vision for a prosperous Ghana with a strong focus on job creation, business development, and economic stability.

He reiterated the party’s commitment to tackling pressing issues such as the cost of living, infrastructure development, and private sector growth.

“I mean to deliver for you and your family, for your future, and for your business. Indeed, Bawumia means business,” he declared, receiving enthusiastic applause from the gathered supporters.

The event also featured messages of support from party veterans, including former President J.A. Kufuor, and a documentary highlighting the achievements of the current NPP government.

As the 2024 elections draw closer, the NPP is gearing up for a robust campaign, with a renewed focus on communicating its policies and vision to every corner of the nation.

The party believes that a clear and consistent message will be key to winning the trust of the Ghanaian people and securing a third consecutive term in office.
