Unilever MD calls for bold policies to secure Ghana’s future

Unilever Ghana Managing Director Chris Wulff-Caesar has called on the government to establish robust, time-bound policies to guide the nation’s vision and drive sustainable growth.

Speaking as a panellist at the MTN Ghana Business Executive Breakfast, Wulff-Caesar emphasised that while Ghana is rich in talent, the absence of clear vision and solid policies has hindered progress.

He noted the need for forward-thinking policies that go beyond short-term goals, outlining that a strong vision would ensure accountability and align with the rapidly evolving global economy.

Wulff-Caesar also warned that Ghana cannot continue to rely solely on the extractive sector and should instead focus on emerging industries.

He urged the government to think critically about the economic landscape beyond its current tenure, ensuring the country’s readiness for future shifts in global job markets.
