Tepa Break-In: Police hunt for 3 key suspects

The Ghana Police Service has launched a manhunt for three individuals linked to a daring break-in at a private warehouse and a radio station in Tepa, Ashanti Region.

The suspects, identified as Akakpo, the assembly member for Akwasiase; George, the assembly member for Maabang; and a third accomplice, Mujeed, are accused of stealing agricultural equipment, including spraying machines, bags of fertilisers, and Wellington boots.

According to police reports, the break-in, which has alarmed residents, resulted in significant property losses. Sgt. Benedicta Brago, speaking on the matter, revealed that the suspects are also linked to an intrusion at a local radio station during the incident.

The National Elections Security Task Force has intensified efforts to track down the suspects and ensure their prosecution. Authorities have assured the public of their resolve to maintain law and order amidst concerns over rising incidents of such crimes.

The police are appealing to the public for information that could lead to the suspects’ capture. Individuals with relevant details are encouraged to report to the nearest police station, with guarantees of confidentiality.
