Mr. Christian Tetteh Yohuno has been officially promoted to the rank of Deputy Inspector-General of Police. The announcement came with congratulations from Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, the Inspector-General of Police, and members of the Police Management Board.

The promotion was endorsed by the Police Council following a meeting on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, where Mr. Yohuno’s exceptional credentials and dedication to duty were acknowledged. COP Christian Tetteh Yohuno is a seasoned law enforcement professional with over thirty years of experience, having held numerous significant roles within the Ghana Police Service.
President Akufo-Addo also extended his heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Yohuno, stating, “COP Christian Tetteh Yohuno receives sincere congratulations from President Akufo-Addo on his well-deserved appointment and wishes him the very best in the discharge of his duties.”
