VIDEO: Pastor explains why she pours libation to ancestors in church

The founder and leader of the Light Manifestation Centre, Rev. Comfort Allotey, also known as Maame Connie, has explained why she pours libation to ancestors in her church.

She said that pouring libations is a Christian custom and an act of worship.

The lady of God stated that she supports the act and that her church really does it, in contrast to many other churches who disapprove of it.

She explained in an interview with Puretvonline.com that pouring a libation is a gesture of respect, acknowledgment, and giving everything to God.

“The amount of testimonies we have received as a result of doing this will astound you,” she remarked.

While some may associate this act with traditional religion, Maame Connie pointed out, “We are not traditional worshippers, although we believe in the traditional way of worship.” Since we are Christians, we consult the Bible for all of the scriptures we use for this practice.

Citing an example from the Bible in Psalm 75:7-8, “It is God who judges: He brings one down; he exalts another.
In the hand of the Lord is a cup. full of foaming wine mixed with spices He pours it out, and all the wicked of the earth Drink it down to its very dregs”.

According to her explanation, when you pour libation, God will break the horns of your adversaries and make your road straight.

Furthermore, Maame Connie said that many Christians throughout the world struggle in their lives because they don’t seek the proper advice and believe that Christianity is all about break and loose
