Order Will Be Restored At Home- Samini on Stonebwoy and Kelvyn Boy Fued

Ghanaian dancehall artist Samini has called for peace and healing in the ongoing feud between Kelvyn Boy and Stonebwoy, urging fans and the music community to focus on unity and restoration.

In a recent statement on X (formerly Twitter), Samini expressed hope that “order will be restored at home” and emphasised the importance of understanding history, humility, and patience in resolving conflicts.

His comments came after Stonebwoy, in an interview with Ike De Unpredictable on Angel FM, spoke about the challenges he faced working with Kelvyn Boy at his Burniton Music Group (BMG) in 2018.

Stonebwoy revealed that his life had been at risk during their partnership, which ultimately led to the split between the two artists.

Although Stonebwoy has remained relatively silent about their rift in recent years, his recent interview reignited tensions.

In response, Kelvyn Boy took to X to express his frustration, accusing Stonebwoy of using “mafia tactics” to hinder his growth in the music industry. He claimed that Stonebwoy’s actions had turned many Ghanaians against him, making it difficult for him to achieve success. Despite the challenges, Kelvyn Boy added that “grace” was still on his side.

“What exactly do you want from me, nigga? You have defamed me, turned the majority of Ghanaians against me because you’re a saint, and you can never do no wrong. I cannot rise to the heights I was meant to mainly because of your mafia tactics, but Grace speaks for me regardless…” Kelvyn Boy posted.

The rift between Kelvyn Boy and Stonebwoy dates back to 2019, after the termination of Kelvyn Boy’s contract with BMG, which both artists publicly attributed to “structural challenges.” Since then, their relationship has been marked by subtle jabs and occasional public outbursts. The situation worsened in 2020 after Kelvyn Boy was reportedly attacked at an event in Ashaiman, though Stonebwoy denied any involvement.

Despite the animosity, Kelvyn Boy has repeatedly sought to reconcile with Stonebwoy, even going so far as to publicly beg for forgiveness and an end to the bad blood. However, the wounds appear to remain deep, and the tension between the two artists continues to simmer.

In his statement, Samini encouraged both artists and their fans to be patient and allow for healing.

“Humility alone cannot do it without patience. Allow the offended to heal and be careful not to allow entitlement to replace loyalty,” Samini added, hinting at the need for both Stonebwoy and Kelvyn Boy to reflect on their actions and prioritise the bigger picture.

Kelvyn Boy’s rise to fame began after winning the 2018 MTN Hitmaker competition, and his partnership with Stonebwoy’s Burniton Music Group seemed to promise a successful career. However, tensions over accusations of ingratitude and disrespect began to surface in 2019, leading to the eventual breakdown of their professional relationship.

The ongoing feud has divided fans and left many wondering whether the two artists can ever reconcile, despite their past successes together.

For now, Samini’s call for healing and understanding serves as a reminder that the music industry, like any other, can benefit from maturity, patience, and a focus on the greater good.
